II Transnational scientific board meeting & III Steering committee meeting – Budapest, February 28, 2012

Budapest (Hungary) 02/28/2012 -02/29/2012

Hungarian Meteorological Service, UHI (Urban Heat Island) project partner, hosted the meetings on 28thand 29thFebruary 2012 at its premises.

On 28th the Transnational Scientific Board met to discuss about the state of the art of the project. On 29thmorning, four transnational focus groups took place.

Experts discussed of: urban sustainability regeneration and sprawl limitation policies; policy and communication on environmentally-driven consent; bioclimatic discomfort and urban health assessment; micro- and macro-scale analysis of the UHI phenomenon.

In the afternoon the steering committee meeting focused on management issues.
